Four Oregon middle school teachers worked with project scientist Peder Nelson to create a poster for the ForestSAT 2012 conference which was the 5th in a series of international conferences promoting scientifically based understanding of how spatial analysis technologies can help describe and monitor forested systems.  These teachers were participants in ONREP's Researcher Teacher Partnerships program.  The poster described how the teachers engaged middle school students in landscape change investigations using Landsat imagery and LandTrendr analysis. One middle school teacher attended the conference as co-presenter of the poster.
