Curriculum: Project Learning Tree’s Explore your Environment guide for K-8

Description: 

Come celebrate Earth Day as we explore trees as plants. Learn about the similarities and differences between gardens and forests, what all plants have in common and need, including soil and water, and how humans and plants interact. Workshop participants will receive PLT's Explore your Environment: K-8 curriculum and more resources. The workshop will be both indoors and outdoors (garden and forest), so come prepared for Oregon spring weather. 

This workshop is brought to you by Oregon Forest Resources Institute (OFRI), EV Consulting and Oregon Natural Resources Education Program (ONREP). 

Registration required. Offered at no cost to formal and nonformal Oregon educators. PDUs available.
