In this workshop, we’ll dive into engaging activities and strategies that build Transformative Social Emotional Learning (TSEL) competencies, equipping students with the self-management skills they need to thrive beyond the classroom walls. From fostering curiosity with inquiry-based thinking routines to developing naturalist skills and ensuring physical and emotional comfort outdoors, you'll gain practical tools to prepare your students for success. Walk away with classroom-tested activities, nature journaling techniques, and essential outdoor preparation tips that will help create a truly unforgettable outdoor school journey! Stipend: A $60 stipend is available from OSU Extension Service Outdoor School to support the attendance of eligible outdoor school educators who are not being compensated by their employer for the time they attend the workshop.
