  • Project WILD K-12 Guide

Description: Schoolyard habitats inspire curiosity and sense of stewardship by connecting students in urban communities to their local, natural environment. Together let's explore what is just outside the classroom door as we engage in hands-on activities. We will share tips and tools for extending learning to the outside classroom, explore real world examples of Schoolyard Habitat projects, and discuss why this extension is purposeful to learning and student growth.  Participants that attend the entire workshop day will receive the Project WILD K-12 Curriculum and Activity guide.

We will be using activities from Project Learning Tree August 21st and activities from Project WILD on August 22nd. If you would like to attend both days please register for both days.
