Description: Pollination sustains life all around us: in forests, in farms, and in our schoolyard. Come enjoy the beautiful setting of the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge as we investigate how pollinator and plant lifecycles interact together to impact our world. We will focus on bees and hummingbirds as key pollinators in the Pacific Northwest. Resources include Flying WILD: An Educator’s Guide to Celebrate Birds, Xerces Publications, and ongoing research conducted by OSU.
