Format and Length: Interactive, online, 1.5 hours, plus one hour of pre-reading

Audience:  formal and nonformal educators, outdoor school educators & service providers

In this discussion group, participants will explore why equity is central to supporting social-emotional learning (SEL) and how it relates to trauma-informed care (TIC). We will be providing each participant with one thought-provoking article and one short information sheet to read prior to the meeting. 

The discussion groups will follow a jigsaw method format https://www.jigsaw.org/overview/ We invite you to join this opportunity to engage with others, share your thoughts, and deepen your understanding of equity.
