Description: This workshop is targeted for 5th and 6th grade teachers and non-formal educators who participate in or work with Outdoor School. Outdoor School instructors have shared that students who have the ability to make keen observations, reflect on phenomena, and analyze & discuss what they are experiencing are keys to their success when engaging in field study. Join us for a day to develop classroom activities that prepare your students to make the most of their field study experience at Outdoor School. This workshop is offered in partnership with the Oregon Zoo.
