Description: This training program will help instill confidence in teachers of grades 6-12 to create and lead field-based investigations. The training helps build teachers’ content knowledge about issues impacting the people, wildlife and environment of the region, as well as provides them with direct experience in developing and implementing field-based studies. The teachers will learn and utilize professional field management techniques, strict safety standards and environmentally appropriate and ethical practices.
