Time: 9:30 a.m - 2:30 p.m. 

Format & Length:  In-Person, 5 hours 

Audience: Early Learner professionals and educators, formal and nonformal, teaching ages 3-7.

Curriculum: Project WILD’s Growing Up WILD guide.

Early Childhood providers and educators, join this interactive workshop and explore tools and curriculum to help you get your young students engaged in nature, both inside and outside of the classroom. During this workshop we will practice creating a hands-on learning environment for 3–7-year-olds, explore several field and snack activities from the Growing Up WILD activity guide and discuss how these activities provide meaningful nature-connections.  Come dressed to explore outside and stay warm inside (the room is chilly). Participants receive Project WILD’s Growing Up WILD guide.

Those who attend the entire workshop are eligible to receive a Professional Development Unit (PDU) Certificate which they can upload to their Oregon Registry Online (ORO) account to count as a professional learning credit.
