Total 6 hours Curriculum: Project Learning Tree’s (PLT) Carbon & Climate E-Unit Audience: 5th - 8th grade educators, formal and nonformal Description: Join ONREP as we use the Project Learning Tree Carbon & Climate E-Unit to explore how educators can engage students in hands-on outdoor activities that help them to accurately collect and convey climate data, and engage them in thinking critically about issues related to climate science. Participants who attend the entire workshop will receive permanent access to PLT’s Carbon and Climate E-unit. Registration required. Offered at no cost to formal and nonformal Oregon educators. PDUs available. Substitute reimbursement potentially available. Carbon and Climate is offered in partnership with Benton County Extension and priority will be given to Benton County educators.
