*Oregon Natural Resources Education Program's (ONREP's) primary goal is the health and wellbeing of all facilitators, participants, and guests. All in-person ONREP professional development events will comply with federal, state, Oregon State University, county, and local regulations as well as the policies of the facility where the workshop is being held. More detailed information will be shared in the workshop confirmation which is sent to registrants prior to the workshop.

Curriculum: Project WILD's Flying WILD guide

Join us at Wildlife Safari as we explore hands-on activities for elementary students that are all about birds! Explore concepts of adaptations and anatomy. Observe behavior (you will have a chance to meet the resident birds). Practice identification. Get students excited about learning through movement and role-playing activities!

As part of the workshop we will have the opportunity to visit Wildlife Safari's wetlands to observe birds in their habitat.

All workshop participants will receive a complimentary copy of Project WILD's Flying Wild guide and a pass to Wildlife Safari.

Registration required. Offered at no cost to formal and nonformal Oregon educators. PDUs available. Substitute reimbursement available on teacher workdays.
