Description: Make science flow seamlessly into your classroom with Project WET! This interactive workshop will show you how to use hands-on, inquiry-based activities to teach water science in ways that spark curiosity and deepen understanding.
You’ll learn strategies to connect Project WET lessons to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) foster critical thinking, and engage students in real-world water issues. Through collaborative activities and practical planning, you’ll leave with ready-to-use ideas that make science relevant and dynamic.
Participants will receive Project WET’s Foundations of Water Education and are encouraged to bring a computer or tablet to explore Project WET’s online resources.
Considerations: This workshop includes some outside activities in varying weather conditions.
