Audience: High school natural resource educators 

This virtual conference will focus on the social, economic and ecological aspects of Oregon’s natural resources. The conference will include general and breakout sessions, training for Oregon Envirothon 2022 and networking opportunities.           

This conference meets the professional development requirement of the Oregon Department of Education statewide Natural Resources / Forestry Career & Technical Education (CTE) Program of Study.

Session topics include:  Resources and strategies for teaching fire, New technology in forest products manufacturing, Open educational resources, Student engagement strategies, Using virtual reality in the classroom, and more. 

This conference is offered in partnership with Oregon Natural Resources Education Program (ONREP), Oregon Department of Education (ODE), Oregon Natural Resources Educators Association (ONREA), and Future Natural Resource Leaders (FNRL).

Registration required. Offered at no cost to formal and nonformal Oregon educators. PDUs available. Substitute reimbursement available.
