Format & Length: online, interactive, 5 hours, and some additional self-paced work 

Audience: 3rd-5th grade educators, formal and nonformal 

Curriculum: Project WILD’s Aquatic WILD 

In this interactive workshop, educators will explore several Aquatic WILD activities related to the life cycle and biology of salmon. The training also includes a focus on engaging youth in meaningful stewardship projects designed to improve watershed health. Lessons will connect with salmon or trout rearing activities in classroom aquariums. Participants will receive a copy of Project WILD’s Aquatic WILD curriculum guide.

This workshop is co-hosted by National Wildlife Federation, Oregon Metro, and Oregon Natural Resources Education Program (ONREP).

Registration required. Offered at no cost to formal and nonformal Oregon educators. PDUs available. Substitute reimbursement available on teacher workdays.
