Audience: K-2nd grade educators, formal and nonformal

Description:  Given all that is happening on Oregon’s landscape, have you been wondering how to address fire with your K-2 students? In this workshop participants will explore how to use learner-centered essential questions to spark curiosity and increase understanding with this young age group. 

Through interactive engagement participants will be provided with content resources to use with early learners, a sneak peek at the Fire K-12 Essential Questions Progression guide and more.

This workshop is co-hosted by: Oregon Forest Resources Institute (OFRI) and  Oregon Natural Resources Education Program (ONREP)

Registration required. Offered at no cost to formal and nonformal Oregon educators. PDUs available. Substitute reimbursement available on teacher workdays.
