Early Learner Series, August 2022 

Each of the two online workshops in this series is a standalone workshop, educators are encouraged to register for one or for both. 

Workshop 2: Connecting Early Learners to Nature through Project Learning Tree

Date: August 11th & 12th, 2022

Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00p.m., PDT, both days  (participants should plan to attend both days) 

Format and length: Online, 4 hours, plus self-paced work 

Audience: formal and nonformal educators who work with early learners, children ages 1-6 yrs old.

Curriculum: Project Learning Tree’s Environmental Experiences for Early Learners

 Description: Have you noticed how innately curious young children are about the natural world around them? Are you interested in getting your early learners outside and in nature more often? Join us for an interactive workshop about how to connect young children to the natural world. In this workshop we will explore the benefits that accessing the natural world has for children as well as educators, tips and strategies to safely guide nature explorations, and dive into indoor and outdoor investigations.

Participants will be introduced to and will receive Project Learning Tree's Environmental Experiences for Early Learners
