Format & Length: In-person, 7 hours

Audience: Early learner educators (3-6 years) - both classroom and nonformal (out of classroom) educators and others who work with younger children

Curriculum: Project Learning Tree’s Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood guide 

Location: Eugene Oregon at Oregon State Univeristy Extension, Lane County. 

Description: 

Join this workshop to explore activities, art, math, literature, music, and movement to connect early learners to nature. Whether you regularly use the outdoors as a classroom or are new to taking students outdoors this workshop will provide tools, strategies, and hands-on resources to increase the quantity and quality of using nature as a learning setting.

All participants will receive a complimentary copy of Project Learning Tree’s Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood guide.

Registration required. Offered at no cost to Oregon educators. PDUs available. Substitute Reimbursement available on teacher workdays.
