Format & Length: online, interactive, 4 hours, plus some self-paced work Audience: formal and nonformal educators who work with children ages 3-6 yrs old Curriculum: Project WILD’s Growing Up WILD Join us for an interactive and information-filled workshop about how to connect young children to the natural world, through investigations both indoors and outdoors. In this workshop we will explore the benefits that accessing the natural world has for children as well as educators, tips and strategies to safely guide nature explorations outside and introduce educators to Project WILD’s early learner curriculum Growing Up WILD. Each educator will receive a complimentary copy of the curriculum guide. Registration required. Offered at no cost to formal and nonformal Oregon educators. PDUs available.
