Format & Length:  In person, 5 hours 

Audience: Early Learner professionals, formal and nonformal, teaching ages 3-7.

Curriculum: Project WILD’s Growing Up Wild (in English or Spanish)

Description: Early Childhood providers and educators, how do you connect your young students to nature when you are unable to go outside?  Bring the outside in!  Using the Growing Up WILD curriculum, we’ll explore the reasons why environmental education doesn’t end at the door and ways to extend it into the classroom or learning setting. We will share how to create a hands-on learning environment to make meaningful natural connections.  Participants receive their choice of a print copy of the Growing Up WILD guide in English or Spanish. This workshop qualifies for Oregon Registry Online (ORO) professional learning credit.
