Benton County OSU Extension 4-H

Primary Geographic Region: Benton County

The OSU Extension Benton County 4-H Environmental Education programs provide hands-on, experiential learning for youth. Our in and out of school programs work to increase environmental science literacy through the educational efforts of trained teachers, volunteers and community partnerships. Annually over 1,500 youth are engaged in opportunities and projects to help them explore and learn about our local ecosystems. We offer professional development and support for teachers/community educators, field-based programs, curriculum and over 30 locally based educational kits that are available to check out from our office.
