Description: Join us online 2 evenings for an engaging and hands-on workshop that explores how to create inclusive outdoor learning experiences for young children. Using Project Learning Tree (PLT) activities, we will integrate Indigenous cultural knowledge from the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde to foster a deeper connection to nature. Participants will discover how to weave stories, traditions, and land-based practices into outdoor education, promoting respect, curiosity, and a sense of belonging for all learners. This workshop will provide practical tools and resources to support diverse learning styles while celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Indigenous communities.
