Curriculum: Project Flying WILD  

Description:  Oregon Educators, join us for this Flying WILD Workshop. The Flying WILD guide offers practical, hands-on, classroom and outdoor field activities connection real-world experiences in bird biology, conservation and natural history. Flying  WILD’s focus on migratory birds is designed to inspire young people to discover more about the natural world. This guide contains 44 bird-focused activities targeted for the middle school audience, though it is widely adaptable. This workshop is open to 3rd- 8th grade educators.  All Flying WILD  hands-on activities can be adapted for those grade levels.  Educators that participant is the entire workshop will receive a Flying WILD curriculum guide.

Offered to Oregon Educators at no cost AND Substitute reimbursement is available.
