Description: Calling all 2nd— 5th grade teachers! Have you ever seen a bear or fox in the woods? Well, now’s your chance. Join us on an adventure and conduct fieldwork with Museum biologists and educators using remote cameras to investigate carnivores living in the Cascade Mountains. Engage students in citizen science projects that connect them to real-world research. Explore how to integrate wildlife monitoring and migration using interdisciplinary, standards-based curriculum into your teaching. Offered to Oregon Educators at no cost AND substitute reimbursement is available.
