Participants are expected to attend both sessions 

Format and length: Facilitated online during two Zoom meetings with self-paced work between (est. 2 hours of work). Total 6 hours.

Curriculum: Project Learning Tree’s (PLT) Carbon & Climate E-Unit 

Audience: 6th - 8th grade educators, formal and nonformal 

Description: Climate change may be the single biggest challenge that faces our planet today. Using Project Learning Tree’s (PLT) Carbon & Climate E-unit, participants will explore activities and resources. This workshop features environmental justice expert Annie Hommel, PhD, who will provide an overview of climate justice and how it can be introduced to students in Oregon. Participants who attend the entire workshop will receive permanent access to PLT’s Carbon and Climate E-unit. Offered at no cost to formal and nonformal Oregon educators. PDUs available. Substitute reimbursement available.
